For the past 26 years, Ms. Thompson has focused on organizational development, community organizing and mobilization, and improving morale of organizations in rural communities through collaborative planning and developing "asking" strategies. Jo Thompson has been recognized for her community leadership – she is a recipient of the Martin Luther King Dream Award.
