Associate – Texas/New MexicoMs. Otero's approach to community collaboration is rooted in building sustainable relationships between diverse groups of individuals and organizations. She has implemented this belief in her community work in Belize, Central America and throughout the United States. Two of her primary focuses has been on helping Chicano, Native American and environmental organizers to increase voter turnout and on helping young, women of color-lead organizing projects to advance their agendas.
